animation review
Overall I think the process of my animation went well, and the final product was satisfying. It was a fun process making the final piece and to see the work being put into motion was exciting. If I had more time I would get to grips with the After Effects programme better and this would save me time in the long run. I found that this was the main problem when putting it all together. The drawing and scanning was a time consuming process but if I was faster on the computer based parts, my time could be managed more effectively and therefore, the ending of my animation would have worked better. I will continue with this animation in my own time now though, and I found it interesting and want to make the final animation with the proper ending again.
Final Animation
after another few stressful hours on After effects, I managed to sort the ending out by reducing the last shot to a fade out to a white screen, and fading the music out. This looked more professional but the changes got lost somewhere when it got saved unfortunately. And I was out of time. However this one still gets the point across.

Attempt 2
I was experimenting with different effects on after effects. I ended up producing this using the same animation as before but with an added Kaleidoscope style. I loved the result and may consider using this as the overall final animation, but I still need to sort out the music and ending.
Making the Animation..Attempt 1
I put my animation together in after effects along with the music. This was the first test. From the results of this I realised that I need to work out how to fade the music out, because it ends too abruptly. And also reduce the amount of black stillness at the end as it is not needed

Animation..so far
So far I have done 115 drawings. It's a lot of effort and repetition but I'm quite enjoying it and seeing the process of the character coming to life. I'm half way through and then just need to put it all together on Aftereffects.

Movement research
In order to get the movement of my character walking and sitting on the seat, I thought it would be a good idea to take a few motion photographs of my sister walking. This will help me get the correct movement of each limbs in the walking motion, so that my character walks properly.
